Pancreatic Cancer: Risk, Early Detection, Diagnosis & Treatment

At the conclusion of this program, participants should be able to:

  • Identify pancreatic cancer prevention and early diagnosis strategies.
  • Classify and describe treatment advancements for pancreatic cancer in early diagnosis stages.
  • Discuss treatment advancement implications for chronic and acute pancreatitis care.
  • Determine pancreas disease treatment options through case discussion.
  • Apply concepts of personalized medicine to pancreatic disease treatment.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND
This course is designed for gastroenterologists, surgeons, oncologists, radiologists, basic and clinical researchers and all physicians interested in pancreatic diseases. Physicians and scientists interested in translational research, cooperative studies and career development are strongly encouraged to attend. This course welcomes mid-level medical professionals, clinical and research nurses and related health care professionals interested in pancreatic disease research and treatment.
